Defcee

Defcee is a rapper, writer, and educator, originally from River Forest, IL. Since 2007, he has released over ten music projects, and has performed across the United States, and internationally in London, UK; Mexico City, Mexico; Panama City, Panama; and in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago. He has shared the stage with everyone from Saul Williams and Amiri Baraka to Chance the Rapper and Wale, and has received mentions in the Chicago Reader and FakeShoreDrive. He is the cofounder and co-facilitator of one of Chicago’s longest-running rap workshops, Emcee Wreckshop; and he co-hosts Wreckshop Live! alongside his Wreckshop cofacilitator, Add-2, monthly on Vans’ Channel 66 digital streaming platform.
