DJ Haram

DJ Haram is a multi-disciplinary propagandist in Brooklyn, NY. Stylistically versatile, Haram is known for her eclectic production, antiformat DJing, and layman’s poetics. Her sound is an easily recognizable world of its own, spanning from abrasive analog synthesis to speaker-knocking abstract boom-bap and club music to deteriorated Central and West Asian musical tradition. DJ Haram and Moor Mother together make up 700 Bliss, releasing Spa 700 (2018) and Nothing to Declare (2022).

Among a longer list of collaborators, DJ Haram has made notable work with Armand Hammer, including the lead single from We Buy Diabetic Test Strips (2023). In 2025 DJ Haram released her debut solo album ‘Beside Myself’ on Hyperdub Records and is partway through a live world tour of the project. Coming next, she has a full-length collaboration with West Coast rapper Sha Ray — Critical Thot, out in summer 2026 on Backwoodz Studioz.
