MoNiklz had been intimately involved in the Northeast indie rap scene for more than fifteen years. He has been on the road with everyone from Mega Ran to Ceschi and Homeboy Sandman. He should be no stranger to Backwoodz aficionados through his involvement with Willie Green’s Days of Future Past (2012), billy woods' Today I Wrote Nothing (2015), Known Unknowns (2017), and 2019’s Terror Management. If you have seen woods live anywhere in America, there is a decent chance Mo was on the tables. So when he reached out to Armand Hammer about doing a mix, it felt like a no brainer. Mo actually knew both members of the duo before they knew each other! This official mix covers songs from the time when Mo first encountered Armand Hammer (separately and as a unit), all the way up to Haram. There are some selections here only completists may recognize, but regardless how familiar you are, we hope you enjoy the journey.
