Pay or Dispute is rapper/producer Duncecap’s newest project; a portrait of his life in NYC, served by the slice. Backwoodz also put out Dunce’s 2022's collaboration with fellow Brooklynite Hajino- Go Climb a Tree- but this is chiefly a self-produced affair save some additional production from Quelle Chris, and Headtrip. Pay or Dispute finds Dunce navigating sobriety, dating and personal growth over loopy earworms, with support from Denmark Vessey, Shrapknel, Fatboi Sharif, Lord Kayso, and Googie.
