Sharif doesn’t approach his music with the traditional mindset that a normal rapper does, but treats each project as a spiritual experience where he and the listener become married through complete artistic expression vocally and with his writing. Growing up in Jersey, being inspired as a child by the likes of varied forms of art, literature and cinema it’s hard to put Fatboi in one category.
